Ahhh Italy…..more specifically, Taormina, Sicily. If I just close my eyes for a few minutes, I am there again. The lemons, the olives, the sweets (a feast for the eyes as I will show you momentarily!). Strolling through the cobbled streets, browsing in old antique shops and stopping for a seaside glass of wine. It’s hard to think of a more sublime way to spend a day (or three!). Three days is a must, but you could easily stay for a week and continue to be mesmerized by its beauty.
Here is what I would suggest for a three-day stay. A day at the beach, a day to see the sights and a day to just wander through the streets of Taormina centre to shop for antiques, buy olive oil and marzipan fruits and relax by your hotel pool. Of course, have dinner out each night to savour the Italian nightlife and the Sicilian cuisine.
